Creative with Stamps # 42 Autumn

Hello friends! Where has the summer gone?  I love summer and I can't believe it's September already! BUT I do love fall too.
The theme this month at Creative with Stamps is Autumn.

I used Club Scrap Forest Floor to make my card. All stamped images, paper, and fibers are Forest Floor. The Sentiment is Club Scrap Adirondack and the little mushrooms are Club Scrap too but I can't remember the collection.

The card is a Twist and Pop card. I love these-they are so fun to make and to give! I colored all the stamped images with Prismacolor pencils.

Don't forget to check out Creative with Stamps challenge blog to see what the other Design Team members made and to link up a card of your own!

Creative with Stamps # 41 Dad

Hello! Today I'm sharing my Design Team creation for Creative with Stamps. The Theme this month is "Dad (or masculine)."

I used a super cute stamp from Toomuchfun Rubberstamps for my card base. I got it at a Stamp Show in May. They have all sorts of different "shirt" stamps. I used the hoodie sweatshirt stamp for my card. Sooo Cute!! I embellished the front with different stamped images and doodads.  The stamped images, embellishments and sentiment are Club Scrap. (Creative License, Trattoria, Paradise, Steamworks and Succulents)

The stamp is quite large and the image is of the front and the back of the shirt. It measures 8" x 5". Folded up the card is 5" x 4". I used my stamp platform since I didn't have a stamp block big enough.

Then you just fold it in half! So cute!!! You can buy a die cut of each stamp but I just used my Scan N Cut, scanned in the stamped image and let the machine cut it out.

Creative with Stamps #33 Santa or Gift

Hello! Today I'm sharing my Design Team card for Creative with Stamps # 33 Santa or Gift.

I love Christmas Plaid! I just can't get enough! I used the Club Scrap plaid making stencil from the It's a Plaid, Plaid World Special Edition Collection for the background. The presents are unmounted rubber stamp images from the Club Scrap Surprise collection.

For the background I daubed on red and green stamp pad ink through the stencil. One way and then the other way to get the vertical and horizontal stripes. Now I'll be honest, my 1st few tries didn't come out so great. I really had to take my time and hold the paper and stencil firmly in place.

Then I used an embossing pen and drew straight lines across the plaid in regular intervals. I poured on some embossing powder and set with a heat tool. Then I turned the paper 90 degrees and did it again.

I used a red Wink of Stella pen to add a few more lines. Voila! Instant Christmas Plaid!

I hope you link up a card of your own at Creative with Stamps!

Have a great day!

Creative with Stamps #31 Halloween or Leaves

Hello! Today I'm sharing my Design Team card for Creative with Stamps #31 Halloween or Leaves. Our sponser for this challenge is Patti's Creations Digital Stamps.

I used Patti's Creations "Three Pumpkins" for my card. I colored in the image with copic markers and fussy cut it. The base of the card was made with an embossing folder with a cutting die right in it! I think I picked it up at Hobby Lobby.

I made the moon inside the card with Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber and white gelato through a circle mask. Then I stamped and used black embossing powder with stamps from my stash. The little eyes are stamped with white pigment ink.

Creative with Stamps - Mid month inspiration #30 Pumpkin

Hello! I can't believe it's mid September already!!! Time to share a little inspiration for the Creative with Stamps challenge #30 Pumpkin.

For the leaves I used distress oxides on kraft paper. I layered a few different colors, spritzed with water and dragged/swiped the paper across the wet ink. Then I stamped and die cut the leaves with a Stampendous stamp and die set. The paper on the inside is a piece of patterned paper from Club Scrap's Orchard collection. The sentiment is from the Club Scrap Sea Breeze collection.

I used twine and the wooden acorn from my stash. I put some leaves on the inside too - it just looked too plain without them.

Head on over to Creative with Stamps to link up a pumpkin card of your own!

Have a great day!

Creative with Stamps #30 Pumpkin

Hi paper crafty friends! Today I'm sharing my Design Team card for Creative with Stamps # 30 Pumpkin.

For the background I blended various colors of Distress Oxide inks, then spritzed water through a tree/branch stencil. The pumpkin is a bit of punch art made with 3 punched out ovals. I stamped each piece with a hardwood background stamp from Stampin Up! and glued them together. The leave stamps are from Stampendous. The sentiment is Stampin Up!

Guest Artist - Club Scrap Ivy League Card kit

Hello! This month Club Scrap invited me to be the Guest Artist for the Ivy League Card Kit! I'm so excited to share my take on the cards in this collection. I used the unmounted rubber stamps and some elements from the Page Kit to make my creations.

Set A

I used Distress Oxides the make the backgrounds for various parts of this card. I stamped some of the unmounted rubber stamp images around the edges. I used the stencil from the Page kit to create the design in the middle of the tag.

I used the cut aparts with the card kit and blended oxides in multiple colors onto the panel.

For the front of the card base I started with piece of white cardstock and blended Oxides onto it. Then I spritzed and dripped water to oxidize the ink.

I used the unmounted rubber stamp image repeatedly for the background of the card base. Then I stamped the larger unmounted rubber stamp image over the top of that.

Here I used the stencil and brown ink to create the images on the card base. I also stenciled part of the image onto the cut apart for the tag.

The ribbon and red matte on the base are from the page kit.

Set B

I blended Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink on the panel, then spritzed water through the stencil to create the background.

I used blue sparkly embossing powder on the unmounted rubber stamp images for the front panel. I used a piece of the green from the page kit for the matte behind the front panel.

I used distress oxides and the stencil from the page kit for this background. Then I stamped the unmounted rubber stamp image and used black embossing powder.

I used an unmounted rubber stamped image over and over on the front panel.

Set C

I placed all 4 panels together and stamped with the unmounted rubber stamps.

For the Luminary card I used a die cut to cut out the panels. Then I backed them with a piece of vellum. I used embossing powder on the unmounted rubber stamped images at the bottom of each side.

I used a fancy dies cut shape to create the openings.

I matted each side with a piece of patterned paper from the page kit. In 2 corners I poked a hole for the string.

I threaded the embellishments onto the string and stretched it across to the opposite corner. I tied it off and tucked it behind the matte with a little glue to hide the knot.

I spritzed the base of the card with blue glitter ink. I used the pieces I die cut from the luminary card and stamped an image from the unmounted rubber stamps.

I had so much fun changing up these cards a little-there's so much you can do beyond just the basic card kit! Check out the blog post on The Club Scrap Website!

Have a great day!
