Hi my friends! Today I'm sharing a little giftie I made for my niece who's moving from NY to Colorado. It's a big move but I'm so excited for her and all her new adventures!
A few years ago Club Scrap had a Jacob's Ladder project with their Succulent collection. Tricia did a wonderful video with instructions on how to put the whole thing together on the Club Scrap blog.

I love bees :) I have a ton of bee and bee related stamps and papers etc. I thought Bee was the perfect theme for her gift as they symbolize the Sun, celebration and personal power. Perfect for a young girl starting her life!

I used stamped images from the Club Scrap Garden Shed collection and my stash to decorate it. I love those adorable little die cut bees on the front!

For this project you'll need:
12 chipboard squares 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
3 lengths of ribbon 40" each
Adhesive - I used Club Scrap bookbinding glue and my ATG gun.
Card stock, stamped images, embellishments for decorating.
Follow along on Tricia's instructional video to make this adorable little mini album.

I just love the way the Jacob's ladder moves. You'll be surprised how easy it is to make one of your own.

Have a great day!

Card Sketch at Club Scrap

Hi! It's been a perfect weekend to stay in and craft here in Upstate NY. Cold and snowy! My dog doesn't even want to go out in it! I'm spending the whole weekend crafting - perfect.
I'm not much of a New Year resolution kind of person but this year I felt the need to make one. I haven't blogged much lately and decided to be more active on my blog. A couple of years ago I was a member of the Club Scrap Artist Team and I loved it so much! Gave my creativity purpose, deadlines an a focus. I miss that! I'm a Design Team member of the Challenge Blog Creative with Stamps and it keeps me active but not quite enough. I've gotten lazy and need to get back on track! So, this year I plan to blog more and hope to join another Design Team :)

Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Club Scrap Sketch Challenge on Facebook.

No photo description available.
Here's the sketch.

Here's my "W Fun Fold" card. All stamped images are Club Scrap unmounted stamps from the Garden Shed collection. The hexagon embossing folder is from my stash. The papers are Club Scrap and Stampin Up!

I love this fun fold design! The base is 4 1/8" x 11" folded in half. . The "W" is a strip 1" x 11" folded in 4 equal parts. The 4 panels are 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". The inside mattes are 3 1/4" x 3 1/4".
I used a foam blender to put Stampin Up! Crumb Cake ink through a hexagon stencil (Club Scrap). Then I stamped a few bees with the same color. I used a large hexagon background stamp from my stash to ink the top mattes in Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber. I used Stampin Up! Early Expresso to ink all the stamped images. All are Club Scrap Garden Shed except the "Bee-lieve In Yourself" which is from my stash. I popped up a couple of the bees with foam dots.

I hope you liked my card and will watch my blog for more to come!

Have a great day!

Creative with Stamps #46 Scarf

Hello! Happy Holidays! Today I'm sharing my Design Team card for Creative with Stamps #46 Scarf.

The penguin image and sentiment is from my stash. I colored the image with Copic markers. The background is glitter paper I got at a Dollar Store near me. The snowflake stickers are from Club Scrap. I embossed the white strip behind the penguin with an embossing folder from my stash.

Check out Creative with Stamps for the other Design Team creations and to link up a scarf project of your own!

Have a great day!
